Auditions are open to all current students of the University of Â鶹ÃÛÌÒAV. Professional artists are welcome to send their headshot and resume for consideration to theatre@udmercy.edu.

Auditions for TWELFTH NIGHT and HOMECOMING IMPROV SHOW

    Viola

    Curio, an attendant of Orsino

    Feste, the clown of Olivia's court

    Countess Olivia

    Sir Andrew Aguecheek, a friend of Sir Toby Belch

    Sebastian, twin brother of Viola

    Antonio, a sea captain

    Fabian, a servant in Olivia's household

    The roles of Maria, Sir Toby Belch, and Malvolio are not available.

    Audition Requirements

    Prepare one 90-second (or less) comedic monologue from a classical playwright, either Shakespeare or another such as Marlowe, Ben Johnson, etc. 

    All auditioners will be asked to participate in a 20-minute improvisation session at the beginning of the audition.

    Callbacks will consist of cold reads from the script.

    Rehearsal and Performance Dates

    Rehearsals are weekday evenings Sept. 9 through Nov. 6. 

    Performances are Nov. 7-9, Nov. 14-16, 2025.
