Biography

Dr. Vasilis Pentsos is an assistant professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Âé¶¹ÃÛÌÒAV. He earned his Ph.D. (2025) and M.S. (2018) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and his B.S. in Physics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece (2016). His research areas include deep learning techniques for computer vision, AI-driven predictive modeling for embedded systems, adversarial attacks on neural networks and dynamic neural network optimization and scheduling for sustainable computing.
